Hi, my RV4s sounds like the stepper motor that rotates the pickup is missing steps. Video link attached.

It feels like a harness issue to me. I replaced the stepper motor and it made no difference so it's not the stepper motor. I replaced the connector in the stepper motor head and soldered the wires together. This made no difference. The issue is intermittent as well which makes me feel like its a wiring issue. I am just wondering if anyone has had this fault and can confirm what they did to fix it? My thought is to replace the harness that goes from the stepper motor to the arm body where the circuit board is mounted.

Well I changed the harness that goes from the arm to the stepper. I swapper the motor. Swapped the dsp card. Swapped all the leads in between. The only thing left is the cable inside the main pillar of the unit. I think thats gonna be a real pain to get proper access to.
