Hi! Moving out of country so have RV1S for sale. Was used in production until I purchased a new Chinese machine two years ago and it has been sitting there as a backup since, but never had to turn it on after I switched to the new machine.

I have 9 feeders that came with it, lots of spare parts, nozzles. I upgraded PSU on this machine with the help of this forum and PC which runs 98 so supports USB flash drives. Will also provide the original PC running 95 as a backup.

Not sure about feeder types and their condition. Will very likely need servicing, because I only needed and used three out of nine. There are:

- four 10 lane
- three vibration feeders
- one that has 4 small lanes and 3 larger
- last one has 3 very large lanes.

Can be seen running in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JovNFbyKL1U

Available in Hitchin, Herts. Would need to be gone before 28th of September.

Won't sell separately, want £900 for the whole lot or highest offer. Can't do VAT invoice, because it was purchased personally before the business was set up.

Every day the price is going to go down by 100 :D

It's now £800

If it gets as low as 300 I will take it for spares.

Hi, just a heads up that if this does become available cheap, I would need time to get organised if I had to collect it before 28th.

For some reason not getting notifications for this thread.

The RV1S is still available to pick up in the same location, but I won't be able to demo it, because I moved out of UK. Will be going on eBay soon.

Thanks to Mike the Admin for approving our account. I had signed up to advertise the Varitotronic RV1s we have but it turns out Arvy, one our Hackspace members who left the machine with us, had already advertised it but not sold it.

We have the machine in our Hackspace. Arvy has returned home and we aren't really able to make use of this kit. If Trev is still interested it is yours for the price you mentioned above. I have photos if you want to see what it looks like. The machine has been stored indoors in the warm and dry since it was moved from Arvy's industrial unit. Buyer collects.
We would rather this went to someone who can use it or make use of the parts than it gets scrapped.

Hi, yes please. If you can send images that would be great and hopefully we can sort out collection.

Thanks

Hi Trev,

Thanks for the quick reply it would be great to get it to a good home :)

I cant seem to post links to images here. There are a selection of images of the unit, the spares, manuals and accessories we have with the unit on the Hackspace website: https://wiki.hackhitchin.org.uk/index.php?title=Selling_the_Pick_and_Place_Machine#Machine_Details

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  The power supply unit looks to be really good and £300 is a good price for it all.

When would you need it collecting by? Am trying to figure out when I could collect if I do commit to buying it.

Really whenever suits you for coming to have a look. It is a bit easier for me if it is after 4pm on weekdays or at the weekend but we can be pretty flexible. We would like to get it moved soon. Between the members of the hackspace we can probably open the space for access at any time to suit you. Payment could be by bank transfer or I believe we are able to take card payments but would need to check.

RV1S Sold to Trev for £300

I would close the thread but as I didn't place the original sale post I am not sure I can.
