As the camera has limited dynamic range, the aperture had to be set very small to avoid whiting-out for most of the duration, so we have to start in complete blackness (although it was actually daylight).
In the beginning there was darkness....

Once the main plasma cloud diminishes, we see a shower of burning steel sparks
