Attatched zip contains gifs of engineering drawings for nozzles. Material is Acetal.
These are converted from Autosketch format - the only way I have to convert is screen-capturing from Autosketch viewer - if anyone has a way to batch convert a large number of Autosketch files (rather old - Sample  file attatched)  into something useful please get in touch...!

Mike

This looks interesting....

Gopher

Awesome thanks, I'll see what I can have done with those, if anything. That grid does indeed look interesting

davidc

thats the drg for the grid...if any one wants drgs for any RV part i can supply them :) esp for tools etc..

Gopher

Well, seeing as someone already mills black Acetal for us for something else, I have a quote for making the plastic for Tools 1 & 2 and the insert. Prices start to look interesting at the 20 pcs of each point so it is perhaps worth following up IF other people on here are interested in having some of them.

Mike

what sort of price?
You could probably not bother with the brass insert as these could be recycled from old nozzles

Gopher

Yeah costed them as separate things because I was kinda thinking of smashing them out of old tools myself :D. Prices are not amazing but we didn't ask beyond 5,10 & 20, and the differences are big.

This is plastic only

£18.11 Tool 1

£16.38 Tool 2

+ some postage and Lovely VAT

Brass insert is another £8.

I have no lead times and I'm sure the prices could be beaten if you have the right contacts, these guys may well be quite busy, they make bits for one of the teams in a certain sport whose season just started ......

Mike

I was wondering if it might be possible to line the hole in small nozzles with stainless dispensing needle offcuts, either to recover worn ones, or increase durability before they wear...

Gopher

I wondered much the same, I even contemplated buying tiny Acetal Tube (seemingly very cheap) and trying to glue it into a broken tool, then I caved and bought new ones of mr clements.

Mike

I've now got DWG conversions of the Autosketch files - thanks George!

I've looked through all of them, and most are drawings of the mechanical parts of RV1,RV4 and feeders.

Attatched are DWGs of tools, and parts that look like they may be to do with calibration.

I won't post the rest as there are an awful lot of them & don't want to waste bandwidth - if anyone is interested please email.
