frigged about with is an understatement! The software has zones 1, 2 and convection on the top and 4, 5 and 6  on the bottom. The relays are labelled from the left 6, 5,  3&4, 2, 1, the relay that went bang is the one labelled 3 and 4 but was connected to the last 3 rows of heaters on the bottom which is zone 6 on the PC! I have checked all the heaters and the convection zone and the all are ok. So first I need to sort out board and get it to communicate, then I will sort out the wiring. So the triac is for the convection zone and the relays for the other 5? I will go through it all, I am still waiting for the wiring schematic but it will be a while before I get it. Again, thank you for your help

Next time I've got my oven running I'll have a look at the PC software and let you know which zone on screen relates to which output on the main PCB if that helps. You can then at least buzz out the wires between the PCB and SSRs, and SSRs to heaters to see which is which, and whether the diagrams on screen relate to your oven wiring correctly or not.

thank you, someone has definitely swapped a few bits around, I can believe it would leave the factory like it is!

bench tested it and nothing, apart from the burnt track I cannot see any other signs of damage!

I have had the board repaired and bought replacement relays, i started to go through all the wiring but i was made an offer on a TWS1250 oven which i could not refuse! So i have the SMD up for grabs. Free to anyone who can collect either for spare (physicaly its in great shape with all IR emitters working) or repair. It comes with 2 x PC with software already loaded plus a disc. Let me know if you want it. Thanks for your help.
