Are they any better than the RV1 / RV4?

ISTR being told that earlier ones used mechanical centering instead of vision, which got pretty marginal at 0603.

May be worth contacting TWS and asking about available software versions/updates etc.
ISTR that a while ago they changed from DOS to Linux
