Has anyone got any tips for picking up tactile switches with the RV ?
Which nozzle to use etc?
I'm not having much success.
this sort of thing http://p.globalsources.com/IMAGES/PDT/B1035108293/Tact-Switch.jpg
I'm wondering if a special nozzle with a tube to fit over the button and inside the 4 pips might work better.
Yep I've done those before. There are several different varieties. About the only ones I wasn't able to do was the 13mm overall height ones, basically because the tape wouldn't fit into the feeder, even after having the slots deepened. Never got round to making a tray for them but I suspect they could still be a bit problematic because they are so tall and thin at the top.
Anyway, back to yours. Below is the first page of the CDF. I use tool 2. You'll need to set the XYZR speeds to minimum and might need to increase your camera dwell and placement delay times to allow the wobble to dissipate as the switch cap is of course loose to the rest of the switch. Otherwise they place fine.
