Title: Hawk / Active8 / SMT Reflow oven: Supervisor credentials
Post by: phonoplug on January 04, 2015, 04:50:24 PM
Does anyone know the default 'supervisor' credentials for this oven?

I think fiddling with the calibration might make it work in a more reasonable manner!

Ok so that wasn't the most difficult thing to crack!

Default username is 'user' and password is also 'user'.

Supervisor username is 'supervisor' and password is 'smthawk'.

Also in the process discovered there is another login credential for 'smtengineer' with a password of 'reenignetms' (smtengineer backwards). This seems to provide access to everything the supervisor login does, plus it adds a couple of extra options on the front screen, which are circled in orange in the screen shot below.

Actually, an easier way of doing all this password stuff is just to erase the passwords. The file 'users.dat' solely contains the rather weekly encoded usernames and passwords. The default contents of this file I think as as follows:

H(!;]2&H$]
H5{EJ@|
(H;]
(H;]
H5{;9T&9;;]
];;9&T9;{5H

Every odd line is a username, and the following even line is its password. You can just erase the passwords so that no password is needed by saving the file as:

H(!;]2&H$]

(H;]

H5{;9T&9;;]

Simples!
