Title: Neoden TM220A/TM240A
Post by: padski on January 03, 2015, 04:26:49 PM
Hi All,
I was wondering whether any of you have any experience on the long-term reliability/repair/upgradeability of the above machines?
I ask as I have an opportunity to grab a TM240 (hopefully) quite cheap, and I'm wondering if it is worth it. The main issue I have with it is its repeatability, as it often requires recalibrating after each power-down
I have been using it for a few months now and have a suspicion that I may now be as knowledgeable as anyone else here, but worth a try.
Cheers
Paddy

Not aware of any users here, but there is an extensive thread on this machine over at Dangerous prototypes http://dangerousprototypes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=68&t=4903

I looked at this. Needs vision and some decent direct PC control and it would be a nice prototype assembly machine.
